About The Project

Product Confirgurator Web App

A long term client contacted me to create a Custom Visual Product Configurator for a Modular Shelving System similar to one used by a competitor of theirs in the German market.

This web app also needed to be implemented in their European, UK and Australasian stores.

Front End Features

  • An easy to use app that allows customers to design their own system.
  • The ability to add in 'Extras' such as shelf dividers, wine holders etc.
  • An accurate costing based on the customers input.
  • An accurate size calcuator based on the customers input.
  • The ability for the customer to change wood type.
  • The ability for the customer to share their design.
  • The customer can add the customised design direct to the WooCommerce Cart.

Admin Features

  • Customers orders are integrated directly with WooCommerce.
  • The ability to add 'Extras'.
  • Fully inegrated with the customers stock management system.
  • Customers designs anonymously stored for future product research.
  • The ability to export all designs/orders in 3D.
  • Site admin can set limits on sizes.
  • Integrated with shipping providers.
